Domaine Guénault Dozen
From the Bougrier family's own property, where the chalk soils imbue a classical Loire minerality to the wine, making it a great alternative to Sancerre and other Central Vineyards sauvignons.
The maiden vintage released under the Bougrier family's own Domaine Guénault label, a pair to the sauvignon blanc we have followed over many years. Great depth of blue-hue, floral perfume and smooth, supple palate.
A new wine in its maiden vintage from the Bougrier family's own property in the Loire, where the chalk soils bring freshness and minerality even in a vintage with generous ripe fruit.
We have been enjoying the light, easy-drinking chardonnays from the Loire for a while now. In fact one of the Bougriers' wines was one of our Wine Champions this year, and this one will not disappoint either. A little more weight and texture here, with delicate aromas of white flowers and lovely clean lines, think of it as a baby Mâcon in style.
