Predominantly chardonnay alongside pinots noir and meunier, the blend is aged for more than three years on its yeast lees to add extra complexity and class. 2016 was a warm growing season in the UK and this 100% chardonnay is showing opulent biscuit and brioche notes alongside candied lemon and peach after five years on the lees before disgorgement. Buyer Matthew Horsley believes blanc de blancs to be England's signature style and this is a wonderful example.
