Erbacher Siegelsberg Riesling Spätlese, August Eser 2019
Heavenly, peach-apricot tasting wine from a vineyard that is next door to the famous Marcobrunn and from a vintage that produced excellent, sweeter styles of riesling. Désirée Eser Freifrau zu Knyphausen runs the estate with her husband Dodo, and both are winemaking alumni of the renowned Geisenheim school. Désirée took over the running of the estate from her parents to become the 10th generation winemaker of the family.
