Exhibition Mixed Case
Wines included
The Society's Exhibition Haut-Médoc 2021
An appealing, early-drinking claret from member favourite producer, Chateau Beaumont. 2021 was a change in pace for Bordeaux following a number of big, powerful vintages, and has produced wines of great aromatic complexity, moderate weight and refreshing red-fruited palates. Now ready to drink this has aromas and flavours of redcurrants, strawberries and light herbaceous notes that'll be best enjoyed with food.
The Society's Exhibition Albariño, Rías Baixas 2023
A pristine example of albariño from the country's best region for the grape. This dry white has peachy fruit, with no oak, and is an excellent expression of modern Spanish white winemaking.
The Society's Exhibition Chablis 2023
Bright, fresh and mineral, unoaked Chablis made for us by Jean-Marc Brocard, and kept on its yeast lees in tank to fill out the mid-palate.
The Society's Exhibition Crozes-Hermitage 2022
A Rhône vintage that has lots of concentration and ripe berry fruits, expect lots of blackberry and black-cherry fruits that are supported with plenty of spice, liquorice and black pepper. Juicy and accessible in style.
The Society's Exhibition Pinotage, Stellenbosch 2021
Pinotage is South Africa`s signature grape and arguably nobody does it better than Kanonkop, so we`re delighted to work with them on this succulent, plummy and spicy example. A versatile bottle for red meats and roasted vegetable dishes, its fruit sweetness will complement spicier dishes too.
The Society's Exhibition Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Elegant, mineral, citrusy and crisp sauvignon which is a nod in style to the classic sauvignons of France, rather than the more opulent Marlborough stereotype. This is pretty on the nose, with crisp apple and elderflower notes. The palate is focused and refreshing, with bright lemon and gooseberry. Drink this year and next.
