The Society's Exhibition Central Otago Pinot Noir 2020

Textbook Central Otago pinot from one of New Zealand's most respected winemakers, Paul Pujol. Wonderfully balanced wine with red berry, plum and blackcurrant with an alluring earth and spice character. Please ensure you decant this wine for around 45 minutes to allow the aromas to open up and the fruit to shine.

New Zealand £17.00 per bottle
2021 - 2028

The Society's Exhibition DO Colchagua Andes Carmenère 2019

This Chilean carmenère is made on a coolish spot for this variety to make a more drinkable style. This is an intensely flavoured wine with a ripe yet fresh palate of black fruit and notes of clove and black pepper.

The Society's Exhibition Haut-Médoc 2014

This approachable yet cellar-worthy Bordeaux is a blend of almost equal parts cabernet sauvignon and merlot, with just under 10% petit verdot adding a hint of spice on the palate. From Château Beaumont, this is unmistakably Médoc but with easy, ripe tannins ensuring plenty of drinking pleasure.

France £14.95 per bottle
2017 - 2027

The Society's Exhibition Langhe Nebbiolo 2018

One of the stars of the Wine Champions tasting this year, this new Exhibition wine is made entirely from Barbaresco-certified vineyards, but from younger vines. It was its glorious bright cherry, raspberry and rose-petal perfume that first drew unanimous nods and collective enthusiasm, while its firm but fresh palate offers lively liquorice-like notes. Elegant and extremely impressive for the price.

Italy £13.50 per bottle
2020 - 2024

The Society's Exhibition Rioja Reserva 2015

A smooth, savoury and stylish Exhibition-label bottling from La Rioja Alta in Spain. The 2015 is fuller than previous vintages yet retains the graceful, silky expression of this traditional-style Rioja made from long ageing in American oak barrels. An International Wine Challenge silver and Decanter World Wine Awards bronze medal winner 2021.

2020 - 2023

The Society's Exhibition Pinotage, Stellenbosch 2018

Pinotage is typically spicy but can range from light and fresh, to the fuller-bodied, satisfying and rich style that Kanonkop makes for us, lush and fruit forward in 2018. Created in 1925 as a cross of pinot noir and cinsault, pinotage is South Africa's very own grape, planted hardly anywhere else around the world.
