A deeply coloured, fragrant and velvety blend of local grapes touriga nacional, alfrocheiro and jaen. Deep and brooding on the nose, with dark fruits and earthy spices. Boas Quintas
Established by Nuno Cancela de Abreu in 1991 in the Dão region in the heart of Portugal, Boas Quintas is a large, modern operation offering a range of labels including the Opta, Giesta and Fonte do Ouro Brands. Since 2010 they have expanded into other regions of Portugal and in 2016 were awarded the “Company of the Year” by Portugal's influential Revista de Vinhos. They are highly focused on export and are now British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard accredited for their systems and practices.
