Côtes de Provence Rosé L'Echappée Belle, Mas de Cadenet 2023

The Negrel family farm is within sight of the Mont Sainte-Victoire of Cézanne fame. From it comes this pale and delicate rosé, fragrant with a touch of finesse, clean lines and length of redcurrant and citrus flavour. A blend of majority cinsault plus grenache, syrah and rolle, this is versatile and perfect with or without food.

Minervois Rosé, Château Sainte Eulalie 2023

Made from roughly equal thirds of syrah, grenache and cinsault with a spoonful of mourvèdre, this is a bright pink rosé, full-flavoured, dry and fruity. Made with food in mind, serve it with grilled meats, fish or a medley of Mediterranean vegetables.

The Society's Corsican Rosé 2023

This is a super vintage for Corsica. The wines have fragrance, elegance and delicacy. The sciaccarellu grape dominates the blend with 10% cinsault. This is a dry, fruity, refreshing pink that can be enjoyed on its own or with food.

Domaine Les Mesclances Charmes, IGP Méditerranée Rosé 2023

A delightful Provençal blend of cinsault, grenache and a little of the local tibouren grape. Bone-dry, crisp, clean, almost flinty with hints of cherry and redcurrant, this is delicious and refreshing.

Côtes de Provence Rosé, Merle, Château Pas de Cerf 2023

Stylish, well presented and utterly delicious, this is made from mostly grenache and cinsault and tibouren in support. This tastes dry and fruity, yet soft and gentle and with a hint of redcurrant and citrus. Tibouren (10% here) is a principally Provençal grape variety mainly used for pinks for the structure it brings.

Coteaux Varois en Provence Rosé, Château Bellini 2023

Tom Bove is an American entrepreneur with a love of all things Italian and opera, hence the name. He sold Miraval to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and then bought this run-down estate on the Via Aurelia, near Brignoles in Provence. He completely rebuilt it, going as far as digging up the vines and breaking up the bedrock. The results are extraordinary as shown by this dry, full-bodied rosé with an aptitude for matching with Mediterranean dishes.
