Half bottle of Deliciosa Manzanilla, Valdespino
With the distinctive saline tang of the finest Manzanillas, this is fresh, aromatic and clean as a whistle. Top-drawer single vineyard sherry from an impeccable source. Perfect with all seafood, sushi or fish and chips. Deliciosa is sourced from a single vineyard - Miraflores in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, close to the mouth of the Guadalquivir river. The famous albariza soil that graces the best vineyards of the region is typically white, but in Miraflores it is more russet coloured (known locally as lustrillo) due to the iron content in its makeup. It said that the combination of this unique soil and the proximity of the vineyard to the sea lend the wine its distinctive saline tang.
