Henriques & Henriques Colheita Single Harvest Verdelho 2007
Madeira from Madeira
A rare single-vineyard Madeira, with luscious notes of caramelised orange and the hint of smokiness typical of the verdelho grape, silky smooth texture and powerful long finish, lifted by invigorating acidity. A wine to savour, with or without food.

Henriques and Henriques
‘H&H’ is one of the most famous names on the Portuguese island of Madeira. Founded in 1850 by Joao Joachim Henriques, the company has a rich history and a profound knowledge of the art of making Madeira. Unlike many of the other producers on the island, Henriques & Henriques is the only company with significant holdings of its own vineyards.
Madeira is very much a wine epitomised by its traditions which current winemaker Luis Pereira captures so well across the range. H&H produces a selection of styles from the drier, crisp Sercial through to intense and deep-coloured Malmsey. A limited amount of some rare single vintages, perfect for anniversaries, are also available from The Society.
