2024 - 2024

Santa Tresa, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Sicilia 2021

This well-balanced Sicilian red is made of 60% nero d'Avola and 40% frappato. A small proportion of the former was allowed to raisin naturally on the vine to intensify the notes of Morello cherry and raspberry. The addition of frappato adds freshness and spice.

Italy £11.50 per bottle
2023 - 2027

The Society's Sicilian Reserve Red 2020

Produced for us from nero d'Avola grapes grown in the Ragusa and Agrigento regions of Sicily. Here the Mediterranean climate, tempered by a cooling coastal breeze, produces full-bodied red wines. Partly aged in French-oak barrels, this juicy raspberry and cherry-scented wine has a rounded mocha finish.

Italy £8.95 per bottle
2024 - 2028

Grillo Sicilia Isola della Fiamma, Cantine Rallo 2023

This aromatic dry white has notes of nectarine, pear and peach. The grillo is grown in coastal vineyards in Western Sicily, and here has just a small addition (20%) of zibibbo that adds vibrancy and orange-blossom aromas.

Italy £7.50 per bottle
2024 - 2025

Vermentino Sicilia, Mandrarossa 2023

Vermentino makes an invigorating peach and lemon-scented easy-drinking dry white, here from the sunshine of Sicily and a brilliantly run co-operative near Menfi.

Italy £7.75 per bottle
2023 - 2024

Feudo Arancio Nero d'Avola 2021

The quality and diversity of Italian wine has resulted in a wealth of choice in our Wine Champions this year. This friendly, fruity Sicilian nero d’ Avola won high scores for its pure blackberry and raspberry fruit and softness of texture making it great with or without food.

Grillo Punto 8 Sicilia, Ottoventi 2023

The organically grown vines for this Sicilian white are in sight of the sea, sitting at the foot of a spectacular inland cliff. There is freshly squeezed lime and apricot on the nose, and a vibrant crisp and dry style on the palate, making it a wonderful white wine to enjoy with fresh seafood, dressed salads or just as it is on a sunny terrace!
