Château Lalande-Borie, Saint-Julien Mixed Case
Wines included
Château Lalande Borie, Saint-Julien 2014
A blend of almost equal parts cabernet sauvignon and merlot, this is a lovely expression of Saint-Julien in Bordeaux. It stands out for its supple dark fruit and savoury spice on the finish and was voted a Wine Champion in 2022 by our tastings panel.
Château Lalande Borie, Saint-Julien 2016
A polished and refined wine from Bruno Borie (of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou renown), this blend of two-thirds merlot and one-third cabernet sauvignon comes from excellent vineyards on the western ‘plateau’ of Saint-Julien. Fruity and ripe yet with lovely freshness.
Château Lalande Borie, Saint-Julien 2015
In terms of quality, Saint-Julien was one of the most consistent communes in the excellent 2015 vintage. Ducru's second wine is at its peak now, revealing plenty of scented, dark fruit and vanilla notes and fully resolved, supple tannins on the finish.
