Very plump and fleshy, counterbalanced by the minerality of the terroir. Smooth, supple, underlined by tarry, slatey savoury notes. Long powerful finish. 92/100

Not much on the nose at first but starts to become fragrant in the glass. This seems to be more carignan than grenache, refined, dark and dry rather than sweet-fruited from the grenache. A mineral style with a dry and powerful, long finish. Drive and energy rather than generosity. Good value. 17/20
