London - 150th Celebration - History Makers Walkaround
Celebrate some of our most historic and important producers in this unique 150th walkaround, with producers that have shaped wine history and who we are proud to work with, including Lilian Barton-Sartorius of Chateaux Leoville and Langoa Barton; Sarah Hwang of Domaine Huet and Lucy Hill-Smith of Yalumba
Over the past 150 years, The Wine Society has stood shoulder to shoulder with some of the most influential and inspiring producers in the world of wine.
During this time, we’ve been proudly at the forefront of innovation – from our ‘truffle-hunting’ buyers unearthing superstars, being the first to import some of the greats to the UK and even developing new and exciting styles of wine with some of our long-standing suppliers.
To celebrate these moments of history and working with some of the finest minds in the business, we have invited some of these history makers to a very special 150th walkaround event with a line-up including Lilian Barton Sartorius of Chateaux Léoville Barton and Langoa Barton, Edouard Moueix of Bordeaux négociant house J.P Moueix, Charlie Sichel of Château Angludet and Alice Vache of Domaine Clos des Cazaux in Vacqueyras. Top Loire producer, Domaine Huet will be present on the evening as will Domaine Trimbach from Alsace and Klein Constantia from South Africa.
So join us, for a walkaround with a truly enviable guestlist and some of the world’s finest wines.
