London - Pazo de Senorans dinner with Vicky Mareque
The wines of Galicia in north-western Spain are a firm favourite with members and we are therefore delighted to welcome winemaker Vicky Mareque from renowned Rías Baixas estate Pazo de Señorans. Along with our buyer for Spain Harriet Kininmonth, Vicky will host this relaxed Galician dinner at Camino Victoria. We will be tasting five of the estate’s wines accompanied by Camino’s delicious tapas.
This small estate, founded in 1989, produced its first vintage in 1990 and quickly won a reputation for consistently high quality. Makers of The Society’s Exhibition Albariño since the 2012 vintage, they also produce Selección de Añada, a special aged cuvée from the winery’s oldest plot, 3.5ha of 35-year-old vines set in a bedrock of deep granite. This spends 35 months in tank and is aged for a further year and a half in bottle, in the manner of a gran reserva, and hits its prime at ten years.
After a sparkling aperitif winemaker Vicky Mareque will lead us through the wines – our Exhibition wine, a trio of the Añada (2013, 2014 and 2015) and their Colecciòn 2021 - alongside Camino's excellent food. It promises to be a great evening.

Our team will help members learn the building blocks of how the flavours and sensations in food and wine interact. The menus for the events are usually provided on registration but do let us know of any dietary or seating requirements.
Do you send physical tickets or is it all e-tickets?
We no longer send out physical tickets for our events. An email confirming registration will be sent to the member who has purchased the ticket(s) and this email can be used as confirmation upon arrival at the event.
Can I bring a non-member?
Yes. Tickets must be booked by a member, but you are welcome to bring non-member guests.
Do I need to know lots about wine to attend?
Absolutely not! Our events target a range of experience and knowledge levels, and we try to make this clear on our event pages. If you’re unsure if an event is for you, simply contact tastings@thewinesociety.com and we will try to help.
Do I get a discount on wines after events?
After our ‘in person’ events, we offer attendees a 10% discount on the wines we have shown, subject to availability. You will be provided with a private code after attending the event to redeem the discount
