Magnum of Champagne Henriot Brut Millésimé 2005

Now fully mature, this complex vintage Champagne is really showing its quality. Aromas of oatcake and baked apple infiltrate the rich perfume, with chalk, buttered toast and citrus on a poised yet expressive palate. This is a treat by the glass on its own, but could pair beautifully with smoked salmon, warm gougères or aged Comté cheese.
