Mas de Daumas Vertical Case
Wines included
Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2017
April frosts saw the crop at this pioneering Languedoc estate much reduced. But if quantity is an issue, quality is definitely not! A super-ripe, richly flavoured, fleshy 2017 with a very long finish, this is very distinguished indeed.
Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2018
A low-yielding vintage with perfect ripenes. Less new oak was used, benefiting the minty, spicy fruit. Cabernet sauvignon dominated but a many other varieties, including nebbiolo, play their part, contributing to complexity in this extraordinary wine.
Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2020
After the drama of 2019 and 2018, 2020 was relatively normal, with no weather spikes. Rain came when needed, and summer was long, sunny and warm without the extreme heat. This iconic Languedoc red is deep crimson in colour with complex fruit flavours and refined tannins.
