Minimalist 'No Place Like Home', Elgin 2022

0 star rating 0 Reviews
Sam Lamson, one of the most exciting producers in South Africa, produces elegant and peppery syrah from the cool, wet Elgin region. Inspired by the northern Rhône, his 2022 'No Place Like Home' delivers impressive concentration alongside pure blueberry fruit, grippy tannins and spice lift. One for the syrah purists.

This is Syrah in a Pinot silk sheath. Those tannins are remarkable, the fruit is diaphanously pure. Outstanding. Good value
