Online - Chocolate and wine pairing evening
We’re thrilled to be partnering with The Cocoa Runners again for a chocolate and wine pairing evening,
The Wine Society and The Cocoa Runners are teaming up again to bring together the delicious worlds of chocolate and wine.
Although not the easiest food and wines to pair, the team have taken meticulous care in creating four intriguing, exciting and delicious combinations for our members to try.
Spencer of The Cocoa Runners will give an introduction into how best to taste chocolate as well as presenting the provenance, stories and, ultimately, the tasting notes for his four chocolates whilst the Tastings Team show the four wines they have chosen to pair with them after much experimentation. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it!
This is the ideal event for anyone with a sweet tooth or a keenness to explore the exciting flavour combinations in cocoa and wine in more detail. It would also make the ideal gift for any wine-loving chocoholic, and you can contact the Tastings Team if you wish to send this as a present for someone.
The chocolate packs, bespoke creations for this event, are enough for two people to share.
Wines must be bought seperately below.

We’re proud of a diverse online food and wine programme at The Wine Society. Formats range from cheese and wine evenings, takeaway nights and restaurant ‘dine at home’ kits. We will explain where to purchase the food in advance; either from trusted partners or your own local suppliers, and we will suggest the wines to buy in advance to accompany the evening.
