White Wine from France - SW France (excl. Bordeaux)
This amusing-sounding appellation is contiguous with Madiran but tends to occupy cooler slopes that are better suited to making a crisp whites. Bone-dry yet with roundness coming from the ripe manseng grapes, this is fragrant with flashes of pineapple and grapefruit. A delight served chilled with fish.
