Pauillac, Ulysse 2018
From the vineyards of one of Bordeaux`s greatest châteaux, this is a classic blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot displaying the intensity and grip of the 2018 vintage, and displaying more than a passing resemblance to its (undisclosed and considerably more pricey) senior sibling. Although the wine can be broached now if decanted an hour before drinking, ideally it should be kept for another couple of years to reveal its full personality. It will age to at least 2035.
