2022 Provence Rosé Case
Wines included
Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rosé, Château Vignelaure 2022
Provence rosé from one of the top estates. This is made from a blend of grenache, syrah, cabernet sauvignon and rolle, better known as vermentino. Full-flavoured and savoury with a lovely expression of ripe red-berried fruit.
Côtes de Provence Rosé, Clos de l'Ours 2022
Deliciously full and fruity rosé, dry with a whiff of redcurrants. This comes from the backwoods of Provence near the spectacular Verdon canyon. It is perfection with grills or a Caesar salad.
Côtes de Provence Rosé de Léoube 2022
A pale and fragrant pink that captures the essence of Provence. Fruity with hints of strawberry and redcurrant and a touch of herbs. Full-flavoured and refreshing and a perfect foil for a number of dishes from Mediterranean-inspired to Far Eastern.
Les Baux de Provence Rosé, Château Romanin 2022
From a remarkable estate with its own Templar castle and cellars hewn into the rock and aptly named 'cathedral', this is a very fine, bone-dry, Provence rosé with weight and a touch of spice. Quite outstanding. It's at its best with food where its complexity will enhance many dishes.
Bandol Rosé, Dupuy de Lôme 2022
A stylish, full-flavoured rose that would be best with food, particularly grills and salads. As this comes from Bandol in Provence, mourvèdre makes up a majority of the blend with grenache and cinsault in support.
Côtes de Provence, Miraval Rosé 2022
From an iconic estate in Provence with Hollywood connections, this is a very stylish, dry, fruity-tasting pink to be enjoyed with or without food. Low stock: Limited to six bottles per member.
