Ribera del Duero Mixed Case
Wines included
The Society's Exhibition Ribera del Duero 2018
We have worked with the small Bóhorquez property to create our first Exhibition bottling from Ribera del Duero, one of Spain's leading fine wine regions. Decant this before serving to release its bold, satisfying flavours.
Secreto, Ribera del Duero 2019
Secreto is an immaculately made Ribera from Spain which has quickly become a favourite with members. It is elegant yet intense with a spicy quality that lifts the fragrant red-fruit flavour. Viña Mayor are also the first winery in Ribera del Duero to obtain 'Wineries for Climate Protection' certification while developing an ambitious project of regenerative viticulture alongside a biodiversity plan to recover and protect local flora and fauna.
Bohórquez Cardela Crianza, Ribera del Duero 2018
Cardela is from a single vineyard planted at over 900 metres in Ribera del Duero. It is mostly tinto fino (tempranillo) with 11% cabernet and 5% merlot, made by the team at Bohórquez. It is designed to be drunk young and is fruitier, denser and more powerful than the reserva that many members know well. A year in a mix of French (80%) and US (20%) oak has added a level of spicy, exotic complexity to the dark red fruit character. Decant at least an hour before serving.
