Wines included
Domaine Les Mesclances, Charmes, IGP Méditerranée Rosé 2022
Delightful Provençal blend of cinsault, grenache and a little of the local tibouren grape. Bone dry, crisp, clean, almost flinty with hints of cherry and redcurrant. Delicious and refreshing.
The Society's Corsican Rosé 2022
Despite the heat of the summer of 2022, Suzzoni, father and son, produced a gorgeous, dry, refreshing, fruity pink using four grape varieties with the full-flavoured sciaccarellu the dominant. This is one of several Society wines to be presented without a foil capsule, as part of our commitment to sustainability. This fiercely proud Mediterranean island is off the south coast of France, and it is a map if the Ile de Beauté, as it is widely known, that features on the new label.
Umanu Rosé, Ile de Beauté, Vignerons Corsicans 2022
Pale and dry rosé from the island of Corsica which has become a major source of good-quality pinks. Made from the local sciaccarellu grape with 30% cinsault, this is very clean, light and refreshing with hints of strawberry and redcurrant.
Côtes de Provence Rosé L'Echappée Belle, Mas de Cadenet 2022
The Negrel family farm is within sight of the Mont Sainte-Victoire of Cézanne fame. From it comes this pale and delicate Provence rosé, fragrant with a touch of finesse, clean lines and length of redcurrant and citrus flavour. Quite full-bodied, so perfect with food, from ratatouille to more exotic ceviche.
Rui Madeira Beyra Rosé, Beira Interior 2022
Elegant Portuguese pink from high-altitude vineyards which deliver freshness, pretty red fruits and an appetising salty-savoury tang on the finish.
Touraine Rosé, Domaine des Echardières 2022
A refreshing blend from the Cher valley, based on five local grapes: malbec, cabernet franc, gamay, and some old-vine grolleau for fragrance and juiciness and pineau d'aunis which brings a hint of spice.
Les Prunes Mando Rosado, Valencia 2022
A virtually extinct Spanish red grape, made like a white and reborn as a rosado! Deep in colour, packed with lovely red-fruit flavours, it's meaty enough for well-laden paellas, piquant chorizo, and patatas bravas.
Alsace Pinot Noir Rosé, Joseph Cattin 2022
Delicate and refined pinot noir rosé from Alsace that is deliciously easy to drink. The Cattins own 60 hectares of vines and Jacques Cattin Jr runs the business together with his wife Anaïs, with Jacques Sr never far away. The village of Voegtlinshoffen, 10km south of Colmar, is home.
Les Trois Petits Cochons Rosé, Famille Laplace
From a top estate in Madiran in the south west of France, this is their take on a summery pink made from a blend of tannat and cabernet franc. It's a lovely pale salmon in colour, fruity, dry and long with just a touch of blackcurrant.
Ventoux Rosé Les Ribes du Vallat, Château Juvenal 2022
Delightful, pale coloured pink rosé from an up-and-coming estate in the Ventoux. This makes perfect summer drinking.
Domaine Peter Sichel Rosé, Pays de Cucugnan 2022
The Sichel estate in the Corbières rebranded itself, paying homage to Peter Sichel who created it some thirty years ago. This is a blend of grenache and syrah, pale and dry with lovely red berry fruit and eminently refreshing.
Luberon Rosé, Famille Perrin 2022
As the makers of well-known Miraval rosé, the Perrin family know how to make pink wine. This comes from stunning backdrop of the Luberon hills. Light-bodied with lots of lovely fruit flavours and clean freshness, and a fridge essential for the summer.
