Saarburg Riesling Feinherb, Zilliken 2021
Essentially feinherb means off-dry, slightly richer than a classic trocken in Germany. Any feeling of austerity is nicely rounded off. This is fruity with some weight and concentration.

Weingut Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken
Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken is the full name for the estate of Hans-Joachim Zilliken which is based in large part on the fine Saarburger Rausch vineyard. The rieslings form 10 ha are ripe and intense without harshness, and flavours range from cool lemon and lime fruit in Kabinett to nectarine and peach at higher levels. Hanno's daughter, Dorothee, also a wine-maker, trained in Geisenheim, the Pfalz and South Africa, joined him in 2007.
