Bordeaux Saints
Wines included
Château Langoa Barton, Saint-Julien 2012
A member favourite and consistently one of the best buys in Bordeaux. 70% cabernet sauvignon, 22% merlot and 8% cabernet franc provide a well-proportioned Saint-Julien with vibrant red-fruit flavours and supple texture that’s starting to drink beautifully now.
Annonce de Belair Monange, Saint-Emilion 2018
The second wine of top Saint-Émilion property Château Bélair-Monange, this is a perfumed, juicy blend of 97% merlot with 3% cabernet franc, with creamy, supple fruit texture and a generous, polished finish. Classic right bank claret from an excellent vintage.
Dame de Montrose, Saint-Estèphe 2011
One of the best second wines we tasted this year. A classy and refreshing blend of 49% merlot, 43% cabernet sauvignon and a dash each of petit verdot and cabernet franc, with considerable finesse.
