With fleshy white fruit, spicy aromatics, and a rich yet racy body, les Genets is a beautiful expression of chenin blanc from the tiny yet renowned Anjou region of Savannieres. Damien Laureau, once considered a newbie in the region, and completely self taught, is today considered one of the leading talents in the appellation. Best enjoyed in it's youth, savour the pithy pear and quince, with a richness that is balanced beautifully by the racy, tense acidity, with saline and floral undertones.
