Müller-Catoir
This a very traditionally run family estate, founded in 1744 and now in its 9th generation. This is traditionally run with top vineyard sites in Haardt and Gimmeldingen.
Riesling takes precedence and is turned into wines of any number of styles from dry to very sweet. But the estate has diversified to include many other grape varieties, some similar to riesling, being little known but capable of making intense sweet dessert wines.
