Wines included

2023 - 2024

The Society's Côtes de Bordeaux 2020

A deeply coloured and ripe claret from the Bordeaux vineyards of member favourite Château de Pitray. Rich, with plump merlot fruit on the palate.

France £9.95 per bottle
2023 - 2028

The Society's Australian Shiraz 2020

Aside from being good people, Bleasdale also make wines that consistently overperform, even in more challenging vintages. This is a prime example. It's wonderfully vibrant, bold, generous and fruity, with flavours of black cherry, blueberry and blackberry.

2021 - 2024

The Society's New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Made exclusively for us by Villa Maria, this is a grapefruit and lime-scented, bright, generous and refreshing sauvignon. The perfect example of why this style from New Zealand has been such a hit for so long now. Excellent value and deliciously crisp. The label design represents the beautiful bottlenose dolphin, one of the nine species of dolphin living in the waters of New Zealand, and representative of the amazing marine life that make their home there.

New Zealand £11.50 per bottle
2022 - 2024

The Society's California Old-Vine Zinfandel 2021

A classic California zinfandel, with cherry cola on the nose, fresh strawberry and tart red cherries coming through on the full, soft palate and a hint of vanilla on the finish.

2022 - 2025

The Society's Pinot Grigio 2022

This elegant Italian pinot grigio, made exclusively for us, really hits the spot. With lemon and green apples on the nose, there is a refreshing minerality to the mouthfeel that lasts on the crisp finish. As this wine hails from the Veneto region, the new label for this popular wine takes its inspiration from the famous lion of Venice, the symbol of that fabled city's patron saint, Mark the Evangelist.

Italy £9.50 per bottle
2023 - 2025

The Society's South African Chenin Blanc, Stellenbosch 2023

Now sporting new Society livery, which alludes to the sustainable farming practices long employed by the Grier family at Villiera, namely pest-eating geese in the vineyards. Old bush-vines - some over 30 years old - provide a richer component to which an earlier-picked proportion is added to lift its bright stone-fruit flavour. It's worth decanting for 20 minutes or so to let it's aromas unfurl.

South Africa £8.50 per bottle
