An iconic Napa producer for those in the know, Stony Hill have been making elegant, balanced wines since 1952. There is great perfume on the nose, with concentrated bramble fruit on the firm palate. This wine is youthful and charming now, but will age beautifully, developing wonderful cedary and floral complexity. Decant before serving - it will be worth it!

A very high quality vintage in Napa and the Sonoma Valley. The harvest was very early with many varieties being picked almost simultaneously, and everywhere fruit quality and health was excellent. Further down the coast the situation was much the same with Central Coast and Paso Robles producing dark, intense reds and balanced, fruity whites.
