2021 was an outstanding vintage in Chile. Blackcurrant-leaf aromas and gooseberry fruit flavours make this bright, taut sauvignon easy to love, with or without food.
Diemersdal Cape Blend, Western Cape 2020
From the fairly newly designated appellation Wine of Origin Cape Town, fanned by cooling breezes which bring freshness to the dark fruits and spice in this Cape Blend comprising 30% of the essential pinotage, with 32% merlot and 38% cabernet sauvignon.
Candelabro Reserva Cauquenes Carménère-Carignan 2021
A yin and yang blend. Ripe and fleshy carmenère, 85%, is balanced by the freshness and grip of 15% carignan. Cauquenes is in the warm Maule region and ideal for maturing these two varieties.

Made from the aglianico grape, which, grown on these volcanic southern slopes, develops a perfumed nose of fig and black-cherry fruit, black pepper, tobacco and violets. A lovely medium-bodied wine with firm tannins and a long finish.
