Red Wine from France - Bordeaux
We couldn`t release a range of specially labelled fine wines to celebrate our 150th Anniversary without including a Pauillac, the king of Bordeaux`s Médoc communes, and Batailley seemed like the obvious place to go. With deep crimson colour and a classic nose of cassis, graphite and vanilla, this is a classy Pauillac with impressive depth and concentration. Ample fruit density and gravelly tannins complete the picture. An hour in a decanter before drinking is recommended for this wine as this will allow it to unfurl gradually.
