The Society's 150th Anniversary Geyserville Zinfandel 2019

Eric Baugher made this wine for us from Ridge`s famous Geyserville vineyard as an exclusive for our anniversary. A field blend of zinfandel, carignan and petit sirah, this has a full, black-fruited perfume with cherry and liquorice spice on the palate. This is singing now, but will certainly still improve with some time. For a video message from the winemaker, and for more on the story of this wine, please scroll down.

USA £39.00 per bottle
2022 - 2029

Paris Valley Road California Zinfandel 2020

Full-bodied, rich zinfandel with blueberry and blackcurrant-compôte fruit. Plenty of mocha richness with dark, juicy berry fruits on the palate that last well on the finish.

USA £12.50 per bottle
2022 - 2026

The Wine Society's Generation Series California Merlot 2021

This exclusive merlot has been blended for us by Eric Aafedt and Jody Bogle from their enviable parcels of Lodi and Clarksburg fruit. Aged in American oak barrels for 12 months, there are mocha, strawberry and rich blackberry notes, balanced by velvety tannins that extend the flavours on the finish.

USA £13.50 per bottle
2024 - 2027

Brazin Lodi Old-Vine Zinfandel 2021

A wine that lives up to its name, this brazen zinfandel is a full-bodied, rich and powerful red, with concentrated blackberry and damson fruit profile, mocha, sarsaparilla and sweet spice developing. A great red to pair with a steak, barbecue or burgers, although the soft tannins mean it is a comforting glass by itself.

USA £14.95 per bottle
2023 - 2027

Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara Pinot Noir 2022

From grapes grown in the hills of Santa Barbara County, California, where the slopes are cooled by Pacific winds, this pinot shows great elegance and poise. A vibrant cherry and redcurrant perfume leads to fine tannins and summer-fruit intensity on the palate, with a hint of herbs and leather developing on the finish.

USA £26.50 per bottle
2022 - 2030

District 7 Monterey Pinot Noir 2022

A great pinot from Monterey in California where the vines benefit from the cooling winds and fogs from the Pacific. This is a vibrant redcurrant and cranberry-fruited wine, with a little balancing oak and a fresh finish. We are supporting Scheid, through our 2024 Climate & Nature fund in their efforts to obtain Bee Friendly Farming (BFF) Certification, offered by Pollinator Partnership. This project aims to support Scheid in planting and creating habitats and food for native bee colonies.
