Valle
The Vittoria range is made by Valle, a company founded in 1952 by Luigi ‘Gigi’ Valle, a pioneer of modern winemaking trained at the renowned Conegliano oenology school in the Veneto.
He saw early on that up-to-the-minute equipment like stainless-steel temperature-controlled tanks, sterile bottling and horizontal presses to press grapes gently were vital at a time when there were many archaic practices still in use in a country more interested in quantity than quality in many cases.
With vineyards and growers in both the Veneto and Friuli-Giulia the company, still under Gigi’s watchful eye alongside his sons, remains outward looking and progressive.
