A dry, full-bodied, fruity, traditionally made German sparkling wine made from pinot noir. The Julg estate is right on the border between the Palatinate (Pfalz) in Germany and Alsace in France, and they have vineyards in both regions.

Weingut Jülg
This is a family estate based in the southern Palatinate, right on the border with Alsace. Indeed, the border as it was finally drawn in 1945 actually cuts through their vineyards so that half of their vines are actually in France and overlook the lovely Alsace town of Wissembourg! The wine styles here reflect all that is best in today's Germany: dry, fruity wines from a raft of different grape varieties.
