A deliciously fruity, juicy, dry pinot blanc in a fresh and direct style. A German wine but the grapes are all grown across the border in Alsace thanks to a delightful post-war anomaly. Perfect as an aperitif or with a stir-fry.

Weingut Jülg
This is a family estate based in the southern Palatinate, right on the border with Alsace. Indeed, the border as it was finally drawn in 1945 actually cuts through their vineyards so that half of their vines are actually in France and overlook the lovely Alsace town of Wissembourg! The wine styles here reflect all that is best in today's Germany: dry, fruity wines from a raft of different grape varieties.
