Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay 2020

Flying the flag for California, this very well-balanced chardonnay is partly barrel fermented for richness and partly in stainless steel to protect the apple and pear freshness. The result is an excellent, typical but fresh wine with subtle spice notes overlaying the fruit and second-glass-inviting finish.
