"Reiterating what others have said, this vintage ('17) seeemd thinner than previous ones. Still pleasant enough, good acidity, delicate red fruits and very good with the tapas, just not that memorable. Maybe the posher £17 version is where it's at this time?"
Mr R Piggott (17-Dec-2018)
"The previous vintage came in my top 3 all time favourite rose; however, this year's offering I found thin in fruit and much more acidic making it drinkable with food but not on its own. "
Mr Roger Brooke (14-Jul-2018)
"Pleasant and fruity and easy drinking"
Mr Frederick Matthews (13-Jun-2018)

"Stands up to a surprising variety of foods yet also easy to drink on its own. Beautiful colour in the glass and elegantly packaged/branded. A well balanced wine with good acidity and a long finish. Delicious"
Mr Bob White (15-Jul-2017)
"Rather nice. The nose is on the light side. The fermentation in wooden vat and the racking of the less shows. Some traces of malolactic fermentation, on a measured and gratifying way, adding complexity, texture and length. Very elegant."
Mr Juan Trujillo Andrades (29-Jun-2017)
"A rosé for food. Strawberries and red cherries. Dry. Perfect summer lunch wine. Best rosé we've had for a long time."
Mr Chris Sheppard (22-Jun-2017)
"I find this slightly off dry, packed with plenty of fruit, culminating in the Haribo sweets "strawberries and cream" taste. Medium bodied with a pleasant ,smooth finish; goes fantastically well with curries across the whole spectrum. We have been drinking rose in the summer for 36 years and this particular one is in the top 3. Well worth a try."
Mr Roger Brooke (10-Jun-2017)
"A rose with attitude ! Light and delicate with plenty of fruit. Lovely and crisp. Lingers well on the palate with a nice hint of bite. We like this, it's different from the normal rose and we will buy more."

"A brilliant wine. Refreshing and bright, as proper rosado should be, but with real substance, red fruit tang and so food-friendly. I buy this wine every year, but was really wowed by this vintage."

A
different Spanish rosado from one of the great traditional Rioja bodegas. A
world away from the powerful, wood-aged tintos Muga is acclaimed for, this
pale, limpid pink, made from 60 per cent garnacha, 10 per cent tempranillo
and 30 per cent local white grape viura, is delicate and refreshing.

"Beautiful pale pink colour. A brilliant dry rose at a great price."
Mr Roger Leon (14-Aug-2014)
"This a fantastic value wine, ideal for summer drinking. A little fruitier and richer than last year's more restrained offering, this wine still offers a mix of herbs and fruit on the nose, combined with mouthwateringly high acidity and full body, which make it a perfect food wine, able to stand up to strong flavours and outdoor drinking."
Mr Tom Donaldson (07-Aug-2014)
"A powerful, dry wine, delicious with salads &/or barbeque - this has become our favourite rose."
Mr David Folds (31-Jul-2014)
"Really, really good bottle of Rosé wine that for a change, lives up to and possibly exceeds expectations, with food. Went really well with a hybrid Ceasar-Greek salad (invention test) and had the acidity and body to complement the creamy dressing and the Kalamata olives. This is a Rosé worth trying again."

"Muga is one of my
favourite Rioja producers. Based in the old station area of the pretty town of
Haro in the Rioja Alta subzone, it sticks to traditional values with a modern
take, as you find in this rosé blend made from two red grapes – grenache and tempranillo
– with a little white viura added to flesh out the mouthfeel. - Rose Murray Brown"

"A dry blend of
grenache, viura and tempranillo. The wine is fermented in small wooden vats to
produce a very delicate rosé, crisp, acidic and best drunk after mowing the
lawn to quench the thirst. - Richard McComb"

"Oaked rosé is not to
everyone’s taste but serve a tasty Rioja rosado with the likes of beef
carpaccio or vitello tonnato and something rather wonderful happens: the oak
flavours fade and the wine’s fruity oomph comes to the fore. So tuck into this
glorious oak-fermented and aged pinky-orange rosado with its gorgeous floral,
nutty, strawberry palate, and rejoice.- Jane MacQuitty "
