"Bought as a bin-end, but still quite pricey. Pleasant enough Oz chardonnay. Plenty of depth, not overly oaked (but I'm not sure I'd describe it as a "light" oak flavour). Went nicely with a simple roast chicken. If you want a classic "old-style" Australian chardonnay, this will probably fit the bill"

"Very pale glowing gold in the glass - it's rather beautiful. In my bottle there was a touch of foaminess which I think is yeast related - it didn't affect the taste or smell but it is a fault. On the nose this reeks of oak with hints of citrus behind it. In the mouth it is very light and sweet with lemons, limes and maybe a touch of juniper, the alcohol is extremely well integrated. It has a tremendously long citrus finish and curiously the oak isn't so noticeable in the mouth. Overall this is too zippy and zesty for me but I think a lot of people might like it and at £19 it's reasonably priced."

"Pale-medium gold.
Dominated by toasty-nutty reduction on the nose. Creamy, yellow stone-fruit
palate with decent freshness and a spicy finish. - Tim Jackson"

"Vivid and lemony, zesty and bright, lively acidity, subtly creamy and buttery on the finish. The restraint, nerve and poise of this wine is more reminiscent of Chablis than the more typical opulence and fatness of New World Chardonnays. A serious effort and a very appealing, versatile drink. Sexy, and very good."
