English wine has found its stride with more bottles being sold than ever before, an ever-growing medal collection and last year’s bumper vintage – one for the history books. With such a boom and such a range of wines now available, it’s only natural that we’re looking to dive a little deeper and discover the distinctions that set our homegrown wines apart.
Join buyer Matthew Horsley as he welcomes three producers from different corners of the homegrown wine scene to give us the low-down on producing wine in their regions, the nuances and the specialities.
We’ll be welcoming Tommy Grimshaw of Langham Wine (Dorset); Zoe Driver from Black Chalk (Hampshire) and Simon Roberts of Ridgeview (Sussex).
Whilst you don’t need any specific wines to enjoy this event, we encourage you to open something homegrown and join us in toasting English Wine Week.
