"I've previously enjoyed the 2012s and the 2014s and the 2016s are every bit as good. Extraordinary VFM. The bad news is that no more will be produced, so snap this up while it's available. "

"Paired with loin of Venison. Truly delicious, easy drinking. This really is superb value for money. It’s certainly opened my eyes to this region but so good it’s hard to look past. Smooth and silky. "

"My first WS wine. Delish! Very drinkable, fruity, not too heavy. For someone newish to appreciating reds, this was a very enjoyable start. "

"I think the fact there are 34 reviews here says it all. Great reviews and thoroughly deserved. I think the summer pudding analogy is my favourite but 'with wood pigeon' sounds pretty magical. Its certainly a very French lovely country wine. I don't have the pallet to waste on expensive wine. Am so pleased that they cater for every taste. Just received my first case and ordered another 2. My dad was a member of the wine society back in the sixties. So gad I picked up some sensible habits from him. Cheers dad!"

"Interesting in the range of reviews but for me, this is a stunning wine. Very smooth, easy drinking and exceptional value.
I decanted 1hr before drinking. "

"A lovely comforting brambly red for a cold winters day. Put the fire on, read your book and relax. A nice wine. I don't find this an extraordinary wine that is over complex, but for the price you cannot go wrong. If you like Rioja with it's lovely oaky depth, then you will also enjoy this wine. This for me had notes of leather, black pepper, dark fruits and oak on the nose.

"Delcious summer pudding fruit, seasoned with pepper & spice. Juicy, fresh and soft tannins. Lovely balance not too alcoholic, it slipped down far too easily. An absolute steal at £7 & if I had room in my cellar I'd hoover up the remaining stock. "

"A terrific glug for the price. I can drink this with or without food. Yes, it lacks complexity but at £6.95 it really is a great every day wine."

"Excellent value, very enjoyable easy-drinking red. I’ve just acquired the 2015 Vintage, from elsewhere, on the basis that it might be even better at a few pounds more."

"Price/quality ratio merits six stars. This is a really good quality Corbieres that wouldn’t raise eyebrows if it costed £2 more. Cold out of the cellar it tastes fresh and fruity, coddle it in the glass and the smoky bacon, meaty notes join the chorus. You could drink this with almost anything or on its own. It’s an all terrain wine. "

"Colour: Deep dark ruby fading to a pink rim.
Aroma: Strong farmyard, lots of spice, leather, bacon fat, band aid (in a good way), dried herbs (lavender, rosemary), damp forest floor and dark bramble fruits.
Taste: Med+ body, rich and dense, the ripe fruit (cherry, blueberries, raspberries) and chocolate adds a sweet touch. Long warming spiced finish with loads of acidity to balance.
Overall: This is great, punches well above it weight. An attack on the senses that just delights. Sometimes cheap and cheerful just hits the spot. Highly recommend."

"Huge nose, bags of lumpy dark purple & black fruit, has a port-like concentration of dried fruits. Palate is similar, massively fruit forward and confident.
Nothing much beyond the fruit, but for £7 this is great value and should be enjoyed for what it is.
If you want more & better, buy Mas de Daumas Gassac but at most of the cost of a case of this Trillol. "

"Warm and welcoming. Bottles do seem to vary a little, but at this price, worth having there for a go to winter wine. Just bought another case."

"For £7 a bottle this wine is incredible. Good fruits and not too heavy. We have consumed quite a few bottles and it can be a bit variable although the thinner ones tend to be OK on the second day, but that is rarely an option in our house."

"Can't complain too much considering the price, but I found this lacked depth and flavour. I was underwhelmed considering previous rave reviews. So, not a wine I would buy again."
