Mr James Bainbridge
"The description’s fair on this, I think - it’s a well-made blend which contains some peated as well as unpeated Highland and Speyside. The grain component is a touch spirity, but not unbefitting of the overall product - it is very decent for £23 a litre. I will say that I liked TWS’ blended malt a little more, but I am very likely to buy this again - an easy drinking whisky for unfussy everyday drinking is what this is, and therefore I have no hesitation in recommending it if that is what you’re after. I’d love to try the same stuff with a 12 year age statement!"

"An excellent everyday whisky with rich, complex, honeyed and peaty notes and a smooth palette. Very pleasant with just a tiny drop of cool water to bring out the aromas. Superb value for money and highly recommended."

Mr Patrick Vickers
"Smooth, balanced, a nice comfortable blend of flavours - great for everyday drinking either neat or (whisper it!) on the rocks. Still pretty good value and as a total amateur in the world of whisky I think this compares quite well to the Wine Society's 16 yr-old blend, where I've had some good and some less-good bottles."

"Quality everyday dram. Excellent value, robust yet smooth with a toffee/fruit led palate. What's not to like? Recommended for visitors, served in a Crystal decanter, whilst I keep the 16yo society blend to myself!"
