MOST HELPFUL MEMBERS' REVIEWS:
"Words can't really do justice to this port, but I'll give it a try. An opaque deep crimson colour, which looks aged at the edges. Raspberries and plums on the nose. Intense concentration, rounded tannins and a hint of spice. Not the sweetest vintage port I've ever tasted but none the worse for that. A long and lingering finish as you would expect.
Worth every penny. Recommended."

"Remarkable, despite 34 years in bottle it has everything still going for it and and a few more years to spare - drank this in one session with friends Christmas eve 2018. All the usual superlatives for properly aged vintage port apply. Not cheap, but my goodness it's superb value for money. Will get another to set aside for next Christmas."

"Not a bad vintage Port for the price but I found myself a tiny bit disappointed. It tasted very similar to a 2014 Quevedo LBV that was a lot cheaper, but then that Quevedo was an unusually good LBV."

"Only down side was we polished off the bottle in one sitting. Absolutely delicious and on top form for 35 year old. Still plenty of dried fruit.
Would buy again every time.

"Can add very little to Philip Harvey's excellent review. Prunes on the nose; long, peppery finish. Drinking very well."

"Very dark still. Vigorous and full of life. A bit of a bruiser in fact.Coffee grounds and violets on the nose with plenty of acidity and grip. Medium sweetness and a dry finish. Pleasant enough but a bit agricultural - a country cousin to the Taylor's city gent."
