"This is a superb champagne at the price. Blanc de Blanc is my usual preference but this is a refreshing (quite literally) change. A previous reviewer suggests it is rather sharp but I disagree. Enjoyed on its own but particularly good with Thai prawns."

"Full flavoured, robust and delicious premier cru champers. Forthright nose and palate from the high proportion of pinot noir and likely to please most. Unless of course you prefer light delicacy. Brilliant value. If this is Hébrart‘s entry level then the rest of the range should be interesting!"

"A hard, aggressive champagne. But I'd give it 2 stars as it does taste better if drunk with spicy food. The spice takes the edge off it."

"Great aperitif. Very fresh and crisp. Not as much Pinot Noir influence or depth as expected given the blend. Very nice though."

"This is rather splendid! I have worked my way through a fair number of independent grower Champagnes and this one is among my favourites. Very zesty and appley fresh, so probably not to everyone's taste, but I like wines with a zingy backbone. What was extraordinary is about one third of the bottle was left and kept in the fridge for a couple of days. Rather than pour it down the sink I thought I may as well drink it and what a revelation that turned out to be. Yes it had rounded out a little, but there was no noticeable oxidation and was as delicious as two nights before. As for the price, a case of six for £140? What's not to like! A very good wine at an incredibly good value price."

"80% Pinot Noir and you can absolutely tell. There’s a richness here coming from the PN and hints of dark fruits on the palate."

"Not generally a champagne fan, but I found this refreshing and very apple-ly. Worked with quite a variety of strongly-flavoured foods."

"I first tried this Champagne when in Bettys tea room, and it surprised me that both before and after the meal it still held its apple flavour and didn't become tainted. Very refreshing."

"I wish I had read Mr Charles Stokes review, rather than the Press Reviews. I am disappointed with this Champagne. As some say, it is fresh and sappy on first taste, BUT then it has what I can only describe as a sour apple aftertaste. Not what one would expect. I shall look to replace it."

"Bought 6 bottles and believe the Society’s description exaggerated. Clean and fresh with some length but lacked fullness in the mouth, not a sensible trade down from the Society’s own brand. Will be sending the remaining four back and buying the Society’s again."

"On the nose and palate this has what I would call tropical fruit flavours, not something you tend to come across in a Champers. There is good intensity combined with elegance and a refreshing degree of acidity. This is a wine made with a deft touch. On the negative side after around an hour in the bottle it had begun to fade a little on the finish, but apart from that I would recommend this. I tasted this alongside the Chartogne-Taillet Cuvee Saint Anne, which would actually get my vote, but this is a good Champagne all the same."

"Good length and depth, quite individual. The family loved it. Far nicer than supermarket own-brands which are insubstantial and disappointing in comparison. Bought ours at Montreuil, so even better value."

"Beautiful depth of stone-fruit flavour here. Fatness, fine mousse and full length, just a gorgeous texture all round. This racy, modern style Champagne is right up my street."
