"On first tasting I really struggled to like this Manthanilla sherry which i found to have rather a sour, musty, vegetal taste. However, it is much better after it has been allowed to breathe for a period. It has now been open for a few days, kept in the fridge, and is a very pleasant aperitif. It is rich, medium bodied, nutty, oaky, with a refreshing sour acidity. A proper sherry, complex and rewarding. "
