We’ve spruced ourselves up
You’ll doubtless have noticed that we’ve made a few changes to the way we look. Why?
Everyone at The Wine Society is passionate about the joy of wine, but increasingly your feedback made us realise that this is not coming across as loudly and clearly as it should.
We were once proud of our identity as 'a best-kept secret', but in today’s fast-paced and competitive world, we can’t afford to hide our light under a bushel (or great wine under a bush vine!). So we’ve been working to make our Society fresher, more relevant and able to champion the joy of good wine for future generations.
What did we do?
Firstly, as is sensible in all business, we carried out a good deal of research to understand better how we appear to both members and potential future members.
We then looked at everything we do, from really making sure that we are getting the basics right, to looking and sounding our best and being a bit more loud and proud about who we are. Along the way, we have asked for your feedback, good or bad. You told us, for example, that our logo is a little old-fashioned but not to completely change it. This simplified modernised new logo is the result.
But a new look can never be just about a change of logo. Behind the scenes, the team here at Stevenage have been working away bringing our new fresh look alive across everything from our website to our social media accounts, printed offers and soon, our vans. We hope you’ll agree that we’re looking brighter and fresher.
But what hasn’t changed, and never will, is our quality-first approach to wine buying, our commitment to getting the price right first time to maximise value for money not profit and to offer members unparalleled service from start to finish. We want to make sure that this, your Society, keeps up with the times whilst always acknowledging our great heritage. It’s what makes us different. Nothing can change that.
