California Calling

Of all the wine regions I visit, this is one of my favourites and it's so thrilling to witness some really exciting new wines and winemakers coming out of the Golden State.

A trend towards more elegance and balance in California wines can only be a good thing. I couldn't wait to get out there and find out what people are up to and how they are achieving this. Oh, and after talking to Joel Peterson, I got a little carried away with old vines too!
