Salon des Vins de Loire

The annual Loire trade fair was an exciting opportunity for buyer Jo Locke and me to catch up with some of our producers - and discover a few new ones too.

This year's trip was even more important as it gave us the chance to hear about how the region and its growers were recovering from the dramatic and devastating frosts that had threatened to wipe out the 2016 vintage. With almost 50 producers on our list to visit, there was plenty to pack in!
