Rhône 2017: The Drought Factor

Barely a drop of rain from April to November led to a tiny crop of, thankfully, high-quality fruit with that glorious sweet ripeness that only comes in the sunniest years.

While there, it would be rude not to visit two of my favourite Rhône restaurants and raise a glass to the legacy of Paul Bocuse, the multi-award-winning chef who passed away earlier this year.
