The villa at Isole e Olena. Paolo de Marchi's family bought up the abandoned estate comprising two hamlets, Isole and Olena, in the 1950s. Paolo came here in the 1970s and it has been his life's work to restore the estate and plant his vineyards, 'the early years were just about survival,' he told us.
