How it works
Start date and payment
When you sign-up to a Vintage Cellar Plan you will be sent a welcome letter confirming your start month (which will be either March, June, September or December), and this is when your monthly direct debit will begin. Six months after your first payment you’ll receive details of your first allocation of wines, followed by your second allocation six months after that, and so on.

Receiving your wines
You will receive notification of your allocation by post between the 5th-10th of the month after the allocation, i.e. if your allocation is in August, you will receive these in early September. At this point, you can choose whether you would like your wine delivered to you (UK delivery to any address is free) or stored in Members' Reserves, our temperature-controlled storage facility. The first year’s storage is free. After this, you will be charged an annual reserve rental which includes full insurance for your wines at replacement value.
For each of the wines selected for your plan you will be sent detailed tasting notes written by the buyer who chose the wine. The notes provide information on the producer, how the wine tastes, how it is likely to develop and a recommended drinking window to help you decide when to pull the cork.
Your welcome pack will also include a ring binder for storing these wine notes.
Your Vintage Cellar Plan is continuous and will carry on until you let us know if you’d like to change or cancel it.
